BRIEF: Brand identity and packaging wrapper for a revolutionary melanoma biomarker kit

In conjunction with a trademarking and patenting exercise in major global markets, we developed a brand for AMLo Biosciences’ revolutionary biomarker kit, AMBLor, named for two proteins in the skin—AMBRA1 and Loricrin—which overlie a primary tumour and are lost in high-risk melanomas.

A full set of visual brand guidelines were created in support of the company’s marketing efforts.

Working with a packaging solution, produced initially by Keeley Packaging, we produced a simple brand to apply to all AMBLor products, including sub-brand spin-offs aimed at the veterinary feline, canine and equine markets.

For the global roll-out of CE-marked production kits, a sealed foil pack with labelled cellophane wrap, produced by MedTechToMarket, was considered more appropriate, particularly when coldchain transport storage temperatures could not be guaranteed or ambient moisture conditions anticipated.
