BRIEF: Develop an identity for an established dance studio in Marylebone, London

Project Notes

We were commissioned by UKFD to create an identify and website for Marylebone Dance Studio in London, host to a variety of classes, foremost among them being ballet, but also to modern, street, ballroom and latin, as well as yoga, pilates and fitness.

We developed a logo inspired by classic London street-sign typography and colour scheme—which gives it a strong sense of place—and integrated the ballet barre, a strong visual cantilever to an elegant ballerina form.

In addition to stationery, we applied the identity to studio website layouts with complementary visuals and a simple calendar and booking system, built by our regular web collaborator, Sneakytrick.
